Alright so this news came out last year when Twilight Was getting ready to take the big Screen but I am seriously looking for news about this because If House of Night becomes a movie I will be flipping a coin to choose which movie to see first! House of Night has bumpped down alot of my favorite vampire novels, making it my second fav. one. Twilight still hangs strong with me, of course, but I said the same thing about Artemis Fowl when I first read Twilight, and Twilight took it's spot! If you stick me in a room and put Twilight and House of Night next to each other and tell me to choose you better shoot me, because I will scream my lungs out. Though I do beilieve the Twilight Saga will be running for their money if they go through with House of Night. House of Night has the same spikes Twilight has. Its funny as Hell, theres hot guys every where [No seriously.] that want to get down the main girls [Zoey] pants all the time just like Bella. Lol. its a Thiller, and its just down right fucking Sexy as hell. The make out sences just make you melt in your chair. Below is an Offical annoucement about the movie!

Variety reports that, as TWILIGHT prepares to hit theaters, another series of vampire-themed young-adult novels is heading to the big screen. The film rights to P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast’s HOUSE OF NIGHT best sellers have been optioned by producers Michael Birnbaum and Jeremiah Chechik.
In the books, the bloodsuckers, known as “vampyres,” have assimilated into society, and when their special traits begin to appear during the onset of puberty, they’re sent to the titular school for training to become adult vampyres. The ongoing story follows young Zoey Redbird as she discovers her true identity and tries to adapt to her new “lifestyle.” “P.C. and Kristin Cast created a thrilling world that juxtaposes teen drama with supernatural suspense, using the transition from human to vampire as a metaphor for the transition from adolescence to adulthood,” Birnbaum tells the trade. No creative talent has been attached to a HOUSE OF NIGHT movie as of yet. The St. Martin’s Press print franchise, which will ultimately comprise nine tomes, recently saw the publication of its fourth, UNTAMED, following MARKED, BETRAYED and CHOSEN; the fifth entry, HUNTED, arrives in March. You can see the books’ official website here.
